Hi Everyone
At Powerwest, we want to make sure that we get as many competitive athletes playing club volleyball as possible.
At the 16U level, we believe the north shore has enough talented players to field two highly competitive Powerwest teams.
Due to this level of potential, we are going into these tryouts looking to take the top 24 athletes for the 2024 season. Both teams will be led by professional coaches, Adam Thompson and Devon May.
Our vision is that these two teams will challenge each other to be better and be both supportive of, and competitive with one another throughout the season. 16u Blue and 16u Black will have the opportunity to train and travel together this season, ideally creating a cohesive and collaborative environment for this age group. Both teams are registered for Las Vegas.
We believe our commitment to our values and our process has allowed us to grow into one of the largest clubs in the Lower Mainland, and we’re proud of our reputation for creating great team culture and for building elite athletes.
Finally, because we are seeing such strong demand at this age group, we are very excited to announce that we will also be adding a 3rd 16u team, run by coach Liz to ensure the greatest opportunity for 16u girls on the north shore to have somewhere to play and continue to develop. This team will be the 16U White team.
